The Journal is published twice per year (March and September).
Members of state outdoor education associations in Australia will automatically receive the Australian Journal of Outdoor Education (AJOE).
Non-members can subscribe to the AJOE. Subscription rates are

The purpose of this international journal is to promote dialogue, research,
thinking, understanding, teaching and practice in the field of adventure
education and outdoor learning. JAEOL publishes original papers that
encourage a wider appreciation of the interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary
components of adventure education and outdoor learning. The journal is
a peer reviewed journal based in the UK with an international review
board. The journal was first published in 2000 and currently publishes
two issues, one in the spring and one in the autumn.

- ERIC Advanced Search Web site
The Educational Resources Information Center (ERIC) is a federally-funded national information system that provides a variety of services and products on a broad range of education-related issues. The ERIC database is the world's largest source of education information and contains more than one million abstracts of documents and journal articles. Articles are not available for purchase through ERIC. (ERIC refers people to Ingenta for article purchase. See below.)
When you go to the Web site, (1) In the "Term 1 Field" type: Journal of Experiential Education, and (2) In the "Search By Field," choose the pulldown: Journal Citation. From the resulting list, click on the title you are interested in, and the abstract will appear.
Individual JEE Article Reproduction:
AEE offers full JEE issues for sale, but does not provide copies of individual articles. To search for the text of journal articles or to order individual articles, we recommend:
- Your university education library that may have a subscription.
- Ingenta Web Site
This is a search and document-ordering service. Ingenta has JEE articles dating from 1988-present. You may conduct online database searches on particular topics and receive reproductions of articles for a fee. Articles may be purchased online and can be delivered by fax or desktop delivery in pdf or html format.

New Zealand Journal of Outdoor Education
The purpose of the New Zealand Journal of Outdoor Education is to publish original refereed contributions on all aspects of outdoor education, broadly defined. We are particularly interested in articles that apply academic insights to practivce. The journal will facilitate the interchange of ideas and information and contribute to the development of a New Zealand perspective on moving and learning in the outdoors. The work of established and emerging writers is encouraged.
