  7. Camp Walt Whitman is a traditional private coed summer camp located in the beautiful White Mountains of New Hampshire. Our 400 campers, ranging in age from 7 to 15, attend camp for seven weeks and thrive in our well rounded program. Our outdoor adventure is a highlight of our program with campers participating on our high ropes course, low ropes course, climbing and bouldering walls, rock climbing, as well as going on age appropriate day hikes, five day backpacking, biking, and canoeing trips. All of this is just one exciting part of our overall program where campers also participate in swimming, sailing, waterskiing, windsurfing, arts and crafts, ceramics, woodshop, tennis, baseball, basketball, hockey, soccer, lacrosse, etc. We are known for our warm, friendly, and talented staff of over 200.
