Our spring cohort gave this course a 9.1 out of 10 when asked how likely they’d be to recommend this to a coworker. Here’s what they had to say:
“I appreciated the structure of the course and mixture of slides and teaching along with plenty of opportunity for us to participate (a difficult challenge to achieve via zoom, but very well done!). The content was great…I am leaving even more excited to keep learning from what you and everyone shared, and I am excited to apply it in many future experiences, but especially this college intro to backpacking course I am teaching.”
“Thank you both for putting on this course – a NOLS expedition is on my bucket list but not possible for me right now in my season on life – so it was great to learn these NOLS principles in the online format and think about how to bring these ideas and exercises back to my team.”
This course meets for 4 sessions x 3 hours each, and is taught live on Zoom by experienced NOLS field instructors.
