Running ‘Mega’ Programs – Part 3

Author(s): Rick Curtis
Posted: January 12, 2009

Following up on the two previous Blogs on running Mega Programs. I’ve updated the MindManager Map and have published it as a PDF file so that anyone developing a large program can see all of the details of how we plan one of the largest college wilderness orientation programs in the world. The big thing I’ve learned is that ‘the devil is in the details.’ Scripting out your program in the finest detail makes sure that you won’t miss critical things and means you won’t waste  lots of time ‘reacting’ to problems due to lack of planning. You can view Part 1 and Part 2.

You can find an Interactive PDF File of the MindManager Map

If you have a copy of MindManager, you can download the complete MindMap

The best seller used by outdoor programs across the country as a resource and textbook.
