Adventure Education Specialist - Summer/Fall
Bradford Woods provides several seasonal positions which are a step-up from the Professional Outdoor Instructor (POI). Whether you are a returning staff member or brand-new to our organization, these positions serve as great resume-builders. The Adventure Education Specialist job duties include working with a variety of groups that come to Bradford Woods for both day and overnight programming. All groups have a component of teambuilding/leadership development as part of their programs and often use our Low Challenge Courses, Alpine Tower, Climbing Tower, High Universal Course, Pamper Platform, Zip Line, and Waterfront as part of their programming. The position supports instructional staff behind the scenes, coordinates/hosts groups including on-call responsibilities, facilitates some programs (including adventure therapy programs), maintains (challenge) courses, facilities, and equipment used for teaching and facilitation. This is a position that does require some background and experience already leading groups, but is perfect for someone ready for the next step. Pay is $300/week and includes free housing, meals while working with program, WiFi, fitness room, and an amazing 2500 acre backyard.
SUMMER positions: May 30 - August 18 and FALL positions: August 19 - November 10
