Environmental Education Specialist Fall 2018
After celebrating 60 years of Environmental Education Programming this past fall, Bradford Woods is energized and eager for this next year of programming. The Environmental Education Specialist plays a critical role in helping coordinate school programs for grades 4-8 (mostly 5th grade). We see approximately 5,000 students each year taking part in our programs. Bradford Woods is known internationally and is a great resume-builder. The Environmental Education Specialist will coordinate and teach school programs that focus on Environmental Education and are aligned with state and national standards. Most programs are residential and run 3 days/2 nights. This position is a step-up from our POI position and does entail previous background and experience. Desired background includes prior teaching outdoor education or similar programming, coordinating programs and supervision of staff. Pay is $300/wk and free housing, meals while working program, WiFi, fitness room, and an amazing 2500 acre backyard!
