FALL Environmental Education Specialist

Bradford Woods is Indiana University’s Outdoor Center located in South Central Indiana between Indianapolis and Bloomington. Our 2500 acre property is utilized throughout the year to provide educational and recreational programming to over 20,000 people. We are an auxiliary campus of Indiana University and part of the School of Public - Health Bloomington and have five main program areas: Environmental Education, Adventure Education, Recreation Therapy, Retreats, and Military and Family Programs.

We are seeking an Environmental Education Specialist to support fall programming from August 19 - November 11, 2017. This position will coordinate and teach school programs that focus on Environmental Education and are aligned with state and national standards. Most programs are residential and run 3 days/2 nights. Desired background includes prior teaching outdoor education or similar programming, coordinating programs and supervision of staff. Job Availability: 

$300/week stipend plus *room and partial board

*shared housing with other staff and meals while working with programs

This position is hired on an ongoing basis. Space is still available for fall, spring, or combined positions for 6 months!
