About Trackers Earth

Since 2004, tens of thousands of families have journeyed outdoors with Trackers Guides. Through sharing fantastic skills and epic adventures, we seek to inspire kids, creating stories and memories connected to family, nature, and many generations.

Available Positions

We need skilled teachers who want to make education better through working in our camps. We're looking for:

  • Team & Site Coordinators: Professionals with outdoor education and management experience
  • Outdoor Day Camp Guides: Educators passionate about building competency in kids through outdoor education
  • Overnight Guides: Guides experienced in basecamp, expedition overnight & adventure travel programs

Looking for Educators & Mentors

We need mentors and guides who can lead and create thoughtful and entertaining adventures in the outdoors skills, story, and more. You can come with skills or possess a great willingness to learn. These skills could include but not be limited to the following...

  • Early Childhood Outdoor Education
  • Wilderness Survival & Bushcraft
  • Farm Craft & Homesteading
  • Fishing & Canoeing
  • Role-playing Stories with Outdoor Skills
  • Rock Climbing, Kayaking, SUPs and Outdoor Sports
  • Photography, Ceramics, Woodworking or Blacksmithing
  • Paintball and action sports

This position is primarily for summer day camps but we do offer several 9-month and full-year positions based on seasonal performance.

Location

Day Camps Be able to show up for work at day camps at any given Seattle, Kirkland, Lynwood area site in the summer.
Overnight Camps Work at our residential overnight locations. Many are in but not limited to Sandy, Oregon.

Trackers Mission

From wilderness survival to fishing, from story camps to blacksmithing, the timeless Arts of Tracking define how we share these crafts. Tracking develops intensive observational skills in our environment. Tracking cultivates the ability to map complex connections. Tracking guides kids and adults to authentic wilderness experiences. Tracking tells the story of people stewarding the land. Through tracking, kids rediscover and remember their natural connection to family, what is wild, and multiple generations beyond their lifetime.

Compensation - Range depends on qualified certifications.
Leads: $18 - $20 per hour
Assistants: $16 - $18 per hour
Coordinators: $785 - $865 per week
