Camp Ondessonk, a non-profit Catholic youth camp, provides rustic, outdoor experiences to thousands of people of all ages on our amazing 983-acre property in the Shawnee National Forest. We cultivate appreciation of nature by immersing visitors in the outdoors. Duties include general upkeep of property, cabins, campsites, trails, bathrooms, etc. to ensure guest satisfaction. Programs include teambuilding, low/high challenge courses, hiking, canoeing, horseback rides, family camps, adult programs, spiritual retreats, & more. Must be 21+, 2 years of college, First Aid/CPR, camp/outdoor ed/parks experience, comfortable at heights & around horses, maturity, patience, flexibility, self-motivation, energy, sense of humor, passion for the outdoors, strong group facilitation, communication, & interpersonal skills; WFR, LG, or other certifications a plus. COMPENSATION: $330-355/week paid bi-weekly, meals provided during programs, shared on-site housing, pro-deals, access to thousands of acres of national forest. Contract 3/2/21 to 5/17/21.
