Summer Swim Instructor (New Hampshire)
Circle Camp is looking for two female Swim Instructors with American Red Cross Lifeguard Certificates or the ability/desire to become certified. The Swim Instructors will serve a dual role paired as residential cabin counselors living with six girls or teens in a cabin group, and then during the day, be responsible for teaching small groups of girls swimming skills based on the American Red Cross Swim Curriculum. Other requirements include knowledge of swim strokes, good communication skills, patience, and desire to teach girls to enjoy fun in the water safely.
Our waterfront is located on a small, quiet and pristine lake, free of motorized boat traffic. It is surrounded by conservation land and provides habitat to loons, frogs, salamanders and owls. Our activity instructors are invited to enjoy the waterfront during their daily time-off and have access to boating equipment including kayaks and paddle boards. Room and board is included.
At Circle Camp, our counselors make a difference. You will be a guide, role model and instructor to low-income girls from NH. You will bring your positivity and enthusiasm to encourage the girls to do their best, have new experiences and grow. Help our girls to shine this summer and make a difference!
*Lifeguard certification is available free of charge to eligible candidates prior to staff training days and will take place from June 14th-16th. This is a professional certification recognized all over the country that lasts for two years.
