Bold Earth operates 12 to 21-day domestic and international adventure-travel based programs for teenagers designed to foster community, teach leadership, and enhance global citizenship. Our trip leaders facilitate safe, fun, and meaningful summer experiences for teenagers from all over the globe! In the process, trip leaders get to explore the outdoors, visit new cultures, contribute to local communities, and learn new languages in some of the world’s most beautiful places. Trip leaders are in charge of managing group dynamics, coordinating logistics, and leading and assisting with activities that include backpacking, rock climbing, snorkeling, sea kayaking, surfing, whitewater rafting, cooking and more. The Bold Earth trip leader position involves a unique combination of role modeling, leadership, laughter, games, and hard work.
Applicants must be 21 years old, a college graduate or working towards a degree, WFR certified, have prior leadership experience with youth, and an ability to facilitate fun. Staff training begins June 19th outside of Denver, CO, and the contracts end no later than August 16.
