Christodora’s Manice Education Center, located in Florida, MA, is offering two medical certification courses in June 2019 that are open to the public. Dates, times, and costs for the courses are listed below:
Wilderness First Aid (WFA) certification course through SOLO Wilderness Medicine.
Dates: Sat June 8, 2019 & Sun June 9, 2019
Times - Day 1: 9am - 5pm
Day 2: 8am - 4pm
Cost: $150 for the course including books
CPR for the professional rescuer (CPR/AED) through the American Red Cross
Date: Sun June 9, 2019, please note that the CPR course may be held on Mon June 10, 2019 and you should pay for the WFA course to register and if you want CPR to be ready to do either date, and bring payment along.
Time: 4pm - 7pm.
Lodging & Meal Options
Our large cabin tents are made of canvas and situated on deck platforms that house 8 beds, and will be available for $15/night. You may be lodging with other course participants. If you prefer private accommodations, you may bring and use your own tent in our field for a cost of $10/night. Both lodging options will include the use of hot showers, Wi-Fi, and telephone service in the continental US.
Meals: Breakfast $5, Lunch $9, Dinner $12

IMPORTANT: Directions to our facility and course information, including a gear list, will be sent in your registration confirmation email. All course participants should bring their own writing materials and clothes/equipment suitable for adverse conditions in the outdoors. The Christodora-Manice Education Center is not responsible for your preparation or timeliness.
