The Town of Cary is seeking an Outdoor Recreation Camp Director who loves playing outdoors and is wanting to share that passion with youth. The Outdoor Recreation Camp Directors will assist the Recreation Manager in camp program implementation for specialty Outdoor Recreation Summer Camp. Outdoor Recreation Camps are located in Bond Park and cover a different theme each week. Themes are; Archery, Boating, Ropes and Outdoor Skills. Instruction is provided by a separate staff member. Camp Director will assist in the delivery of programs, create activities rain plans fill downtime.

Camp hours are Monday – Friday 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Additionally hours are available in the afternoon supporting other programming up to a maximum of 40 hours per week.  

Must be available to attend training June 14th-June 7th and work June 21st to August 12th.
 

This is a seasonal (May-August), non-benefited position, up to 40 hours a week, with a maximum of 999 hours
