A portrait of Tina Breslin, one of the few women regularly tackling Yorkshire’s bold highball boulders/routes. Drawn to beautiful places, and the quiet mindset it brings, Tina keeps searching out bigger challenges, despite an autoimmune arthritis that can halt her climbing for weeks or months at a time. At 5’2″ Tina is often the first woman, or shortest ascentionist of these proud lines, finding unique beta and new cruxes in her process to send them. Her 6’4″ partner Ian, an experienced climber in his own right is the best spotter you could hope for high above the deck, but his beta is rarely helpful.
