Camp Echo Lake is currently looking for an experienced Ropes Course Instructor to join their 2022 summer team. If you are looking at spending the summer in the beautiful Adirondack Mountains and having a huge impact on the experiences of 500 campers then this is the summer job for you. The position would start on June 8th and end on August 14th; travel will be partially covered as part of compensation. If you have experience in Ropes Course Instruction, facilitation and managing staff then we encourage you to apply. Salary will vary by experience. 

As an Ideal Candidate, you possess the following skills and competencies:

• Formal experience coaching/instructing children or adults;
• Familiarity with Ropes Course management systems, safe practice and safeguarding;
• Experience overseeing a team of staff, managing schedules and providing constructive feedback;
• Experience working with children between the ages 7-16;
• Experience working and collaborating with your peers;
• Familiarity with lesson planning and setting achievable goals for participants;
• A genuine interest in working with children;
• A positive and resilient attitude;
• The desire and capacity to have a fun, active summer in the Adirondack region of Upstate New York.
