Summary

As a camp coordinator, your duties will include overseeing the day-to-day operations of the KidSpirit program. It is essential that you are committed to promoting Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) and positive youth development. You will be responsible for tasks such as staff recruitment and training, evaluating camp curricula, and conducting program assessments. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in expanding camp offerings through outreach initiatives.

Skills & experience desired:

A bachelor’s degree in business, Education, Physical Education, Recreation, or a related field.
Additionally, candidates should have at least three (3) years of experience in a leadership role within youth programming, including promotion and personnel management, hiring, training, and evaluation.
A strong commitment to promoting diversity and excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential when interacting with youth, guardians, volunteers, and student employees.
Effective time management and planning abilities are necessary, as well as a general proficiency in computer usage, including familiarity with information technology, professional office software, and collaborative work platforms.
Ability to quickly adapt to and utilize various digital communication systems, including websites, email newsletters, social media, and other tools, within a dynamic technological landscape.

Compensation Information

The salary range is $44,496-$75,516
