This report is intended for use by employees of a British regulatory body overseeing adventure activities in the education sector. Appendix 2 provides data on School Trip Fatal Accident Records Between May 1985 and November 2001. Drowning accounted for 41% of the 46 reported casualties, more than any other cause.
