The Aerial Adventures department manager will be in charge of the camp outdoor adventure course (high & low rope elements, zip lines) & indoor climbing wall (top rope & bouldering areas). The ideal applicant is over 21, with both managerial & teaching youth experience as well as familiarity of maintaining safety of the associated facility & equipment. We are looking for people who want to share their passion for the Outdoors, Rock Climbing and High Ropes courses with our campers.

Independent Lake Camp is a co-ed, non-traditional, residential camp located in the Pocono Mountains of Pennsylvania. We are located 2.5 hours north of New York City and 2.5 hours north of Philadelphia in the small town of Orson PA. Independent Lake Camp attracts campers and counselors from all over the USA and abroad. We cater to ages 6-17 and offer 2 to 8 week sessions. We offer plenty of time off, one period every day and 4 nights per week. You will also receive one day off per week but not including the first and last week of your contract.  We are looking for staff who have an expertise in a certain area and a passion to share that expertise with kids.

Availability:  This position is available for summer 2020. Start date can be June 1, or earlier in May to account for set-up, equipment inspections, etc. If applicant is not the right fit for Aerial Adventures Manager, we also have department staff positions as well (which include teaching as well as living in a bunk with campers).
