At the AAC, we’re shifting the paradigm of standard advocacy meetings. Rather than visit Capitol Hill offices or state capitols, AAC’s Hill to Crag series brings lawmakers to our office—the great outdoors. Through these experiences, we are building authentic relationships with lawmakers—ultimately generating creative solutions to protect public lands for climbers. This film captures the magic of sharing climbing with lawmakers and how a day of advocacy at the crag can highlight the political and economic power climbers have to contribute to the fight for public lands and protecting our wild spaces.
