Alaska Crossings provides therapeutic behavioral health services to youth ages 12-18 experiencing emotional and behavioral problems at home, at school, and/or in their communities. The expeditionary programs are 64 days and operate in the Tongass National Forest, along the Stikine River,and in Mount Edziza Provincial Park in British Columbia, Canada.
Alaska Crossings provides a structured but nurturing environment for participants to build essential life skills, function better in various environments, and make better choices. The therapeutic curriculum is individualized to address each participant’s treatment needs. Treatment plans are developed by the participant, family and treatment team members and serve as the foundation for daily therapeutic intervention.
