Audubon Expedition Institute is unlike any other college or university experience in the world. There is no traditional campus with buildings of bricks and mortar. Our campus encompasses the entire United States, as well as other countries such as Nepal, Mexico and Canada. Students spend three of their four semesters traveling through various regions of the world in independent learning communities consisting of about three faculty members and eighteen students. During academic semesters spent in the field, students live and learn in the outdoors, sleeping outside almost every night, taking courses, and immersing themselves in the ecological, political and cultural issues of the region they are studying.
