Camp Bllodgett is a non-profit summer residential camp for at-risk youth of Kent County Mighigan (Grand Rapids). We provide an educationally focused recreational experience that promotes social responsibility, builds self-confidence, and estalishes an interest in learning for at-risk youth, so that they may realize their potential and enhance their contribution to community. Our camp program is very educational. Counselors and Staff teach workshops daily to the kids. We are located right on Lake Michigan. We have a pool, mountain bikes, a high and low ropes course, canoes, hiking, and lots of equipment for sports.
Camp Blodgett is seeking cabin counselors, support staff, waterfront coordinators, health officer, educational coordinator, and most of all, we are looking for leaders! Our kids need people around them that are mature role-models who care about them.
Our program starts June 1st and ends July 31st. We work with kids ages 8-13. We have three, six day sessions (8-11 year olds) and we have two, 9 day sessions (12& 13 year olds).
