Located on 200 tree-lined acres along with a 55-acre private lake, Camp North Star is a premier sleep away camp in New England.  Boys and girls, ages 7 through 17, enjoy calling Camp North Star their summer home.  We focus on creating a family atmosphere while teaching our campers valuable life skills and how to make and keep lasting friendships.

North Star’s program is elective based.  Each week campers select a schedule of 6 activities based on their interests.  We offer over 100 activities with choices in Arts, Athletics, Enrichment, Outdoors and Waterfront.  There are a wide range of choices from water skiing to woodworking, mountain biking to model rocketry, and ropes course to rock band.

We offer first-class facilities including a high ropes course, 2 waterfront areas, indoor gymnasium, art studios, and modern cabins equipped with 2 private bathrooms and electricity.  Each week campers and staff head out of camp for trips to popular New England destinations such as whitewater rafting in Northern Maine, minor league baseball games, hiking in the White Mountains of New Hampshire and to the beach along the Atlantic Ocean.

Camp North Star is proud to be accredited by the American Camp Association.  It’s owner/directors, Brooke and Steven Bernstein, are active members.  Steven has been on the regional board of the ACA since 2007 and is a frequent speaker at ACA conferences.
