Camp Skylemar is a well-established (since 1948) recreational summer camp, located in the Lakes Region of southern Maine. Enrollment is limited to 200 boys from across the country as well as abroad, who attend for 7 weeks. Located on a 200 acre wooded campsite overlooking the White Mountains and a beautiful spring-fed lake, Skylemar offers a nurturing atmosphere with an emphasis on FUN.
The Skylemar program features outdoor oriented activities (hiking, camping, high ropes, low ropes, team building, climbing, outdoor skills) as well as land and water sports (soccer, baseball, volleyball, tennis, lacrosse, ultimate, golf, hockey, basketball, football, archery, swimming, water-skiing, wake-boarding, paddle boarding, sailing, fishing, kayaking, canoeing, etc.) Non-athletic activities include arts, bocce, crafts, photography, wood working, science, culinary arts, theatre and graphic design.
Skylemar is proud to be accredited by the American Camping Association. This designation represents a commitment to safety and the willingness to voluntarily comply with rigorous standards of operation.
