Camp Speers-Eljabar YMCA is a 1100 acre facility in the Pocono Mountains of Pennsylvania. We have a rich history of providing year-round programming since 1948.
Our facility includes a 42 acre spring-fed lake, 128 acre bog, and is surrounded by woodlands. We have two camps nestled in our 1100 acres. Camp Eljabar services our 8-14 year old traditional campers. Camp Speers is our second camp nestled around the edge of the lake. Camp Speers houses our 13-16 year old Speciality Camp campers.
We also run a Teen Adventure Trips program, which sends 6 trips to destinations all over the country.
Camp Speers-Eljabar YMCA is a traditional camp program with a rich history. We center all of our activities around our core values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility.
