Camp Taiwan is an outdoor adventure and educational program / Summer Camp nestled in the foothills of the scenic North-Coast of Taiwan. Our experiential-education based programs are as diverse as our 80-acre natural environment; terraced-fields, mountain trails, sub-tropical forests, streams and waterfalls are the backdrop to the programs we offer. Our programs cater to both international and local communities.  Our clients are primarily school groups; summer campers; corporate groups and university groups.  Camp Taiwan is unique in that we offer programming primarily in English and cater to both local and international groups and organizations. Our programs vary to suit the needs of our participants but all programs fit our mission and most programs are overnight.

Spring and Fall: this is when most of our international and overseas school students visit camp.  Our school programs are residential and focus on hands- on learning experiences in life sciences that support the learning taking place at school.  Camp is located in a sub tropics and the rich sub-alpine rain forest offers  a myriad of learning opportunities.  Family groups also book guided camping weekends at this time; both local Taiwanese family groups and expat families take advantage of our facilities and excellent facilitated activities. 

Summer: During  eight weeks of summer (in July ad August) we offer week-long summer camp programs for individual youth ages 5-16.  Inspired by traditional North – American style summer summer camps, campers from all over Taiwan and the world come for 1-2 weeks of wide games, adventure activities, camp songs and campfires.  

Staffing: eight year round and seasonal staff oversee the spring and fall programs.  Half of our staff are Taiwanese and the other half are international facilitators.  Similarly in the summer we grow to a staff of about 35, again half native Mandarin speakers and half international (primarily native-English speakers).
