Camp Watitoh

Updated: May 15, 2014
Camp Watitoh is a spirited, dynamic, overnight co-ed camp conveniently located in the Berkshire Mountains of Massachusetts. Our summer home is filled with a warm family atmosphere leading to lifelong friendships, fun activities, and personal growth. Watitohans enjoy an active program of land and water sports, creative and performing arts, special events, evening activities and outdoor adventures. We provide a nurturing environment that enables campers to experience the rewards and challenges of acquiring new skills and exploring new areas of interest.

We offer a full summer 7-week program, as well as four-week and three-week options. We are located two and a half hours’ drive from Boston and New York City.

Currently we are seeking a team of qualified men and women to run our climbing wall, high ropes, and low ropes course. We are looking for camp counselors to live in the cabin with kids and teach in our adventure program during the day. Typically, these staff are college-age. We are also seeking an Adventure Director. This person must have experience with all aspects of the job: safety, harnesses, knots, and belaying. In addition, this person should have experience leading group games and team-building activities. This candidate has a very outgoing personality and can get kids and staff excited for this new camp program! The dates are June 15-August 13. Room, board, and salary are included.
