Canadian Border Outfiters prepares and outfits clients for their experiences into the Quetico Provincial Wilderness Area and the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness. CBO is located 18 miles from Ely, Minnesota on the shores of Moose Lake, the gateway to over 2 million acres and 1800 lakes of paddling wilderness. CBO assists and provides trip pre-planning, routing, gear and food selection and transportation to and from entry points into the wilderness areas. CBO also provides pre and post trip lodging and meals. CBO has over a 40 year history of excellence in service to our clients. CBO has the unique capability of servicing individual clients as well as large groups from the base on Moose Lake.

Our Moose Lake location gives us prime access to both the Boundary Wateres Canoe Area Wilderness in the U.S. and the Quetico Provincial Park in Canada.  Together these two wilderness areas offer the finest flat water canoeing adventures in the world.  A National Geographic top 50 destination.
