CRI sponsors an outdoor education and outdoor adventure program for college students that combines courses in the humanities (Religious Studies, Philosophy, Literature, and Studio Art) with a broad range of outdoor activities (hiking, climbing, biking, boating, and so forth). Students earn a full semester (16 hours) of credit that transfers back to their home college or university. In this off-campus study program, 10-12 students each semester live in a mountain lodge together, take classes together, go on adventure trips together, and enjoy life as a small community. Fall sessions begin in late August, and spring sessions in early February.
