Eagle’s Nest Camp is an 80-year-old coed camp
located in the lush mountains of Western North Carolina. Eagle’s Nest provides a strong,
nurturing community where campers ages 6-17 are treated with respect, honor and
compassion. Campers have the
opportunity to participate in 1 – 3 week long sessions which emphasizes the wilderness, arts and community. Teens can
participate in extended wilderness treks that include climbing trips to the Southwest, sea kayaking in Alaska,
hiking on the Appalachian and Long
Trails, and cultural trips to Ecuador,
France, and Iceland. Our
mission is experiential education for young people, promoting the natural world and the
betterment of human character.
