Endurance Wilderness Programs is a faith-based 501.c3 non-profit that serves adjudicated or at-risk youth as well as their families.
The Wilderness Keys for Life program includes a 21 backpacking trip with destinations which include the Gila Wilderness and Big Bend National park. Core components of the wilderness trip include Character Education and instruction using the Wilderness Educations Association curriculum and the Leave No Trace curriculum. The parents complete a six week parenting skills program, 3 sessions while the youth is away and 3 sessions along with their child after the child has completed the wilderness segment. Community support and integration is provided by local churches for 6 months.
Weekend Adventures program provides experiential education in the outdoors using low elements and rock climbing and rappelling for high elements
