As a teenager he and his closest friends were the first people ever to surf many of the now famous point breaks on the southern half of the Baja California Peninsula. Francisco is a proficient sea kayaker (BCU 3 Star) having logged over 30 weeks of paddling in and around the Bahia de Los Angeles are on the Sea of Cortez since 1999. His knowledge and experience leading groups into the cave mural region (Sierra de San Francisco) is unmatched. He holds a Wilderness Education Association Instructor Certifcation as well WFR through WMA and is fluent in both English and Spanish.
