The Fairview Lake YMCA Camps and Conference Center is nestled at the base of the Kittatinny Mountains at 1035 Fairview Lake Road in Stillwater, Sussex County, New Jersey. Our 600-acre site with its 110-acre lake remains a virtually unspoiled natural wonderland that adjoins the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area. The park has served as a buffer — ensuring that our pristine watershed and rural environment are protected. Fairview Lake Camps is a multifaceted resource with an inspiring history and a matchless potential for great service to the metropolitan area.
The camp has three primary program areas. We are the largest residential environmental education center in New Jersey offering overnight and day trips to schools wishing to compliment their classroom based studies with hands-on experience. Our courses are developed in conjunction with the New Jersey Core Curriculum Content Standards.
We are a conference center where any group can schedule retreats, meetings, or simply, fun-filled recreational weekends. Our professional staff with assist you to achieve the goals you’ve set for the weekend
Last, but certainly not least, is the program that started it all in 1915 — our sleepaway camp for children ages 7-16. In addition to having a great time, our goal is to develop leadership, bridge racial gaps, develop an appreciation for the outdoors, promote physical fitness, foster teamwork, and develop techniques for resolving conflict. The Fairview Lake Experience gives birth to life-long friendships, self-discovery, and a home away from home.
All of the programs offered incorporate the YMCA core values of honesty, responsibility, caring, and respect in an effort to build strong kids, strong families, and strong communities.
