InnerRoads Wilderness Program is a wilderness therapy program serving at-risk youth, ages 13-17. Our program rests on the foundation of three core elements: wilderness, family, and community. Participating youth engage in a four week wilderness expedition (in a Montana or Utah Wilderness Areas), and 4 weeks of community-based service projects and recreation. Parents participate in extensive group counseling, and the families engage together in a minimum of eight days of therapeutically focused activities. We provide mentoring and community-based aftercare services for our graduates. We operate on a sliding fee scale; no family is turned away for an inability to pay for services.
