For 20 years, International Student Volunteers (ISV) has conducted international travel programs for tens of thousands of university students in over 5 continents. ISV’s Purpose is to create an environment for students that is conducive to combining education, conservation and recreation into one incredible program, while contributing significantly to the communities in the countries in which we travel. ISV provides university students with a 1-month program in the summer which combines a 2-week volunteer work experience in either conservation or social-community development with a 2-week outdoor adventure tour. Programs operate in Australia, Costa Rica, New Zealand, the Dominican Republic, Romania and the Pacific Northwest of the USA/Canada. Students may receive academic credit for their participation.
