Each summer Longacre Expeditions Trip Leaders and groups of 10 to 16 teenagers bicycle, backpack, rock climb, kayak, mountaineer, white water raft, snowboard, snorkel, scuba, canoe, and surf across miles of the most beautiful territory in North America, Latin America and Europe. Trips focus on group living, wilderness skills, cooperation, independence and fun.

Trip Leaders and Assistant Trip Leaders coordinate different trips that emphasize ability levels. Applicants must be 21 years of age, have a good driving record, and have Wilderness First Aid certification and CPR. Common traits include the ability to communicate effectively with teenagers, competence in a variety of outdoor activities, great physical condition, the ability to embrace Longacre’s philosophy and a sense of humor!
