Lynchburg College is located in Lynchburg, VA, about 180 miles southwest of Washington D.C., in the Central Virginia foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains.
The campus consists of 214 acres fringed by pine and hardwood forests and bordering a small lake. The College’s 470-acre Claytor Nature Study Center overlooking the Peaks of Otter is a 30-minute drive from LC.
Lynchburg College is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools to award degrees at the baccalaureate and master levels.
The Office of Student Activities offers programs and services which provide for the personal, professional, social, recreational and cultural development of students. The College owns and operates both a high and low ropes course.
