Fenton Ranch is a residential environmental education facility owned and operated by Manzano Day School, a private elementary school in Albuquerque, New Mexico. It is located in a beautiful canyon in the Jemez Mountains 80 miles north of Albuquerque.
Pre-k through fifth grade students attend Fenton Ranch once a year. First grade through fifth grade are overnight programs where students will stay one or two nights. It is a curriculum based program so we are teaching about water, trees and plants, habitats, ecosystems, animals, as well as teamwork and stewardship.
Fenton Ranch has between 5 and 6 employees at any given time. The ranch is located on 7 acres of land and backs of against the National Forest.
