Ascent is a life-changing experience for troubled teens. At our licensed and time-tested therapeutic wilderness program, professional therapists help troubled teens break destructive behavior patterns, feel greater self-worth, and reconnect with their inner strength. At Ascent, troubled teens will learn powerful tools, enabling them to make healthy choices that move their life in a positive new direction.

Located in the pristine Selkirk Mountains of Idaho, Ascent’s 200 acre campus is an ideal environment for emotional growth, self-awareness, and healing.  Ascent offers a six to eight week program with an average stay of 46 days. It provides a clinically supported, high-impact outdoor experience for adolescents between 13 and 18 years of age who need help right now. Ascent provides non-compliant and/or socially unskilled adolescents with the tools to redirect their lives with greater self-confidence and to succeed.
