Olin-Sang-Ruby Union Institute is the camp and meeting center of the Reform Jewish Community in Wisconsin. We offer a wide variety of challenge and outdoor ed programs including the first (and perhaps the only) Jewish wilderness program for teens in North America.
Our resident facility in southeastern Wisconsin boasts an Alpine Tower as well as a variety of low ropes elements. In addition, we are situated on a wonderful inland lake providing sailing, kayaking and canoeing with access to close by riverways.
Programs for teens also offer backpacking, rock climbing in the Dells, biking and river trips of various kinds.
All of this is within a remarkably Jewish learning environment. Rabbis and educators build the program with us and engage staff and campers alike in the opportunity to understand Torah in its broadest sense with a clear emphasis on nature as well as issues of social responsibility and social justice.
