Outward Bound is the oldest, largest and most recognized wilderness education organization in the world.  Outward Bound programs are set in the wilderness and are designed to develop confidence, self-reliance, pride in the pursuit of excellence and an overall respect for others.

Outward Bound Israel is a new initiative and in its early stages.  The organization was co-founded by Doren Erel, an Israeli mountain climber and outdoor enthusiast.  The courses the school provides focus on skill and character based outcomes and challenging activities that are structured as a powerful and transforming learning process.  The school was founded in 2007 and focuses on building bridges between the diverse people of Israel as well as between its Jewish and Arab population.  Outward Bound Israel is an independent school under the umbrella of Outward Bound.
