Plattsburgh State University of New York is a comprehensive, coeducational, public institution of nearly 6,000 undergraduate and graduate students. Located on the shore of Lake Champlain, the College is the intellectual and educational center for the Lake Champlain/Adirondack region of New York State. The small city character of Plattsburgh and neighboring Burlington, VT provides a quality of life unsurpassed for the whole family. The Adirondack Experience program of Plattsburgh State University is an academic and recreational outdoor program coordinating and offering year-round adventure programming, including a new program in Expeditionary Studies.
