Quetico Adventure School offers a total experience encompassing experiential education, four season wilderness adventure, rural community living, and social skill development. The full high school year is offered to grade 11, 12 and returning grade 12 students.
An excellent start for those interested in a post-secondary education or a career in the outdoor recreation, natural resources and environment fields. Students will reside off-campus at Quetico Centre located on Eva Lake.
Students will be enrolled in three of the exciting programs offered at Atikokan High School: Outers, Natural Resources Technology and Geomatics. The Outers program has been running for 40 years and is Canada’s longest running, experiential outdoor education program.
Students will be pushed to their limits mentally, physically and emotionally to mature and reach their full potential
Past students have been from Australia, Mexico, and Germany.
There are 20 spaces available each year.
