Reston Association serves the Reston community by providing 4th level government type services to its more than fifty thousand members. In addition to maintaining design and maintenance of commercial and residential development, RA provides excellent stewardship of Reston’s environmental and natural resources, to include more than 1,300 acres of open space.
The Reston Association’s Walker Nature Education Center provides a variety of educational and recreational resources, programs and facilities. It is the mission of the Walker Nature Education Center to teach environmental awareness based upon direct experiences and natural history and to create an environmental stewardship ethic in the community. The Center enhances people’s awareness, knowledge, appreciation and enjoyment of their environment.
