Roaring Brook Camp for Boys

For over 40 years, Roaring brook Camp has been devoted to teaching outdoor skills, Vermont crafts and wilderness expeditions by backpack and canoe. Self reliance, resourcefulness and the will-to-achieve in life center the camp’s philosophy. Located on a 650 forest preserve with a 15 acre trout-stocked lake, Roaring Brook is an ideal setting for healthy boys ages 9-16 who wish to experience a fun and exciting outdoor adventure. Activities include rock climbing, rappelling, tyrolean traverse, a 16-element ropes course, swimming, kayaking, canoeing, fly-fishing, fly-tying, blacksmithing, woodworking, knifemaking, leatherwork, marksmanship, archery, survival training, timber sports, fitness, orienteering, first-aid and rescue skills.
