The Outdoor Education Track requires 23 credit hours in the discipline. The track will prepare students to realize three objectives;
1. To provide students with the knowledge and skills to confidently and safely enjoy the vast opportunities of the outddors now and for a lifetime.
2. To develop self-confidence and leadership skills.
3. to provide training for professional Outdoor Education-related job opportunities, i.e. Camp Directors, Outward Bound and National Outdoor Leadership Course Directors, Urban Porgrams Specialists, Environmental/Adventure Education Instructors, and Managers of Adventure Sports Events.
