The Squam Lakes Association (SLA) is a non-profit conservation organization that protects the Squam Watershed through Conservation, Education and Outreach programs. SLA offers youth education programs that teach safe and fun outdoor recreation, including: canoeing, kayaking, sailing, hiking and backpacking. SLA maintains over 50 miles of hiking trails and rents 15 backcountry campsites and canoes, kayaks and sailboats on Squam Lake. SLA conducts ecological monitoring and manages invasive aquatic plants.
Squam Lake is located in Holderness, New Hampshire, just south of the White Mountain National Forest.
