Located on Starr Commonwealth’s Albion, Michigan campus, the Adventure Education Program offers a wide range of programming options including indoor climbing gyms, outdoor and indoor high ropes courses, and numerous other outdoor and indoor group initiatives and activities. We can provide valuable growth and learning experiences for a variety of children, youth, and adult groups. Some of the benefits for these groups include teamwork, effective communication, support and encouragement, and problem solving within a group. Our participants also develop leadership skills, self-awareness, and self confidence through being involved in our program. Our highly trained and skilled staff facilitate unique experiences tailored to help individuals and groups reach their fullest potential. The Adventure Education Program at Starr Commonwealth also offers workshops in a variety of subjects related to the adventure field. Many professionals, both seasoned veterans and those new to the field, have benefited from attending our workshops. We can also provide workshops off-site for groups of people. Finally, our program presents at a number of conferences throughout the year to a variety of professionals on matters related to adventure-based work.
