Summit Base is located at Curtis S. Read Scout Reservation in the Adirondack Park of New York State.

The six million acre Adirondack Park is comprised of breathtaking mountain ranges, inspiring valleys, thousands of pristine lakes and miles of rivers and trails.

The ‘North Country’ is an abundance of opportunities for an individual to test oneself physically, mentally and emotionally against country as rugged and untamed as it is beautiful.

Our trek program will carry you anywhere in the Park. In camp, you can rock climb, participate in Project COPE, use our indoor climbing wall, go mountain biking, zip lining, caving, or take advantage of our guide services within our local mountain ranges.
