Teva Adventure is a unique not-for-profit educational organization dedicated to enabling the Jewish community to experience the challenge and reward of wilderness and outdoor activities and, in the process, to explore Jewish perspectives on nature and the environment. We believe that the direct encounter with the natural world combined with Jewish educational approaches to nature will strengthen participants’ connection to both the environment and to their Judaism. These dynamic learning experiences also create extraordinary opportunities for leadership development and personal growth. With these goals in mind, Teva Adventure has created an array of outdoor education & wilderness programs.
All of our programs feature excellent experienced instructors, a commitment to safety, teach outdoor skills, promote a respect for nature & the environment (Leave No Trace), specialized curricula about Judaism & nature and offer Kosher food and Shabbat Observance.
We offer programs for teens, college students, adults & families and custom programs for schools and organizations in locations around the world.
We work with excellent partners such as NOLS (National Outdoor Leadership School) for many of our programs.
